Rhyming Poem | Dwindling Lamp Lobotomy

I loved my lost days, black and void
Now I’m nothing, flesh on bone
A dwindling lamp, lobotomy
Discarding empty nests, alone.

I yearn for fear and prison
Yet won’t return to there
Medieval melody, memories of living
Like peace, becoming aware.

Multiplied thoughts like technology
Vibrate in a lifetime observed
From without, undeserving,
From within, undeserved

Run, from the memories I claimed
Interminable, dreaded mistakes
Where the guilty walk free and the light is to blame
Like silence, becoming awake.
